This past Sunday, September 21st, the High Line celebrated the opening the 3rd phase of one of the most successful urban design/renewal projects in the world. The newest section is referred to as “High Line at the Rail Yards” as it bends east at West 30th St to curve around Hudson Yards along 11th Avenue. It then curves back east again to end mid-block around West 34th St just south of the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
Pine buffered bike lane blocked on a Sunday evening creating a safety hazard every weekend for Philly cyclists.
